The Shelby Mustang is a high performance variant of the Ford Mustang which was built by Shelby American from 1965 through 1970. Following the introduction of the fifth generation Ford Mustang, the Shelby nameplate was revived in 2007 for new high performance versions of the Mustang. There are 2 different models: the GT350 and the GT500. The GT350 got the Windsor 289 cubic inch V8, and the GT500 got the 428 Cobra Jet V8. The GT500 model appeared in the remake " Gone in 60 Seconds," called "Eleanor."
In Driver : Parallel LinesEdit
TK drive a navy blue 1969 Shelby GT500 called "Cerrano". Judging by its performance, it might be a SCJ model, but not a drag pack. It has good acceleration and handling. It can run up to 90 mph in standard tune, 120 mph after a tune up and a mighty 140 mph after a tune up and nitrous. The handling will be a little worse after the tune up and you will need to take care while driving. It can also have its paint job changed.
In Driver : San FranciscoEdit
There are 2 models: the 1967 GT500 and the 2010 GT500. The 1967 version has very good performance and can keep up with most new cars. The 2010 model has excellent performance and handling, and is quite inexpensive, making it a good bargain early on in the game.
